Rule 145A
School Classification and Fee Monitoring Committee

(1) To classify schools, to suggest opinions to the Ministry regarding the fees that schools can charge, and to monitor whether schools have implemented the prescribed fees or not, there will be a school classification and fee monitoring committee in each district as follows:-
(a) In the case of community schools,–
(1) District Education Officer – Coordinator (2) A member of the District Development Committee or one local intellectual nominated by the said committee - Member
(3) One teacher nominated by the teachers' union – member
(4) One member nominated by the District Education Officer from among the presidents of the community schools (5) School Inspector appointed by the District Education Officer – Member – Secretary
(b) In case of institutional schools,-
(1) District Education Officer – Coordinator (2) President or member of the parents' association or if there is no such association, two persons nominated by the district education officer from among the parents - members
(3) One representative of District Development Committee – member (4) One member representative of private and residential school organization – member
(5) One representative of the National Private and Residential School Organization - Member (6) One educationist nominated by the District Education Committee – Member
(7) Institutional School Inspector of District Education Office - Member - Secretary
(2) The committee under sub-rule (1) may invite representatives of organizations related to women, dalits and tribals to its meeting related to fee determination.
(3) The procedure related to the meeting of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be as determined by the said committee itself.
